Lana came back to the studio for her one year photos this summer. I first met her and her family last year for her newborn pictures. This girl has got some personality!! She was walking really well, so dad got a nice work out in so we could try to keep her in the set. Isn’t her smile the cutest?
Some moms choose to make their own cakes and sometimes they turn out okay, other times not so much. Lana’s mom is basically a genius, though. Not only was her cake really cute, it was made out of foods that she knew her baby girl would want to chow down on. She made the icing from yogurt and instead of cake on the inside, she did pancakes. The birthday girl was so into it. The yogurt based icing was familiar in texture and taste to her, so she was all over it and gave me some really cute shots for the gallery.
