It was so fun doing the Gibson’s springtime family photos near Charlotte down at the Dairy Barn in Fort Mill. We had planned on using their peach trees but the blossoms bit the dust during a nighttime freeze a couple evenings before the session…. the rest of the property is so beautiful that it didn’t even matter. It was such a gorgeous day and the sunlight was amazing.
I grew up with Chris and his brother and sister at church, then met Krista in high school. We worked together at Big T’s at the lake and luckily got super close because of all our time together in that little shop! A while back, they both landed in Charlotte and even though I didn’t intend to play match maker, I guess I kind of did! The rest is history.
I have done a few short sessions with their little guy, Matthew, but this was their first photo session as a family.
