Welcome to the studio! This is my cute little newborn and baby photography studio located in Indian Trail, just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. I have been in this particular space since October 2017. While the outside building could definitely use a paint job, we (my husband and I) have done a ton of work to the inside. We wanted to make the space cozy and special for capturing some really precious moments.

About The Space

It is about 1000 square feet which is the perfect amount of space for what I need. There is a restroom, of course, and a little closet to stash cleaning supplies and Christmas props.

I’ve also got my little white nook with a bed that I can easily pull in or out for family or baby only shots. Its become one of my favorite spots and is extremely versatile. Check out a couple blog posts and you’ll see why I love it so much!

There is a seating area and changing table for convenience as well as a little fridge that I try to keep stocked for clients.

What to Expect at MJP

The back is full of banners, backdrops, posing blankets, outfits, props, headbands, and other things I use for newborn and milestone sessions. It has definitely taken a while to build up this stash but I try to refresh it through out the year. I like to get rid of things that are going out of style and update it with new things here and there. Naturally, I have my go to’s, so certain things are used more often than others. Before your session, I will send out a planning questionnaire so you can share with me any specific colors or props that you’d like to use for your baby’s photo session. I pull the sheet out the day of your session and have it ready to go at your scheduled date and time. My system helps make the whole process as easy as possible from start to finish!
