Welcome to Quinn’s pastel cake smash gallery! We had so much fun during her session. Quinn was very sweet and easy going, so we started out with some portraits of just her! She loved sitting on my baby stool and clapping her hands on the big antique chair! Once we finished those we moved into the cake smash portion of her session! If you didn’t already know, one year olds attention spans are very short, so thats why we save the cake portion for last! It helps the day flow more smoothly for the baby’s, parents, and myself!

Not all baby’s love the cake portion of their session. It can be a lot of sensory overload for their age, but not for Quinn! This girl loved her cake and smashed it like a star! I love watching each baby’s different reaction when we place the cake in front of them. Some kids look for permission to touch it, others crawl away, and then there are the baby’s who dig right in!! I must say, that this is one of the most entertaining and fun parts of my job!!
