Hey guys, I am just popping in to bless your life with Alexander’s first birthday, little man cake smash! He is too cute for words so I will do my best to explain how fun this session was through my keyboard and photos! He was the most animated and curious “Little Man” and I can’t wait for you to see his gallery!

Alexander’s family chose to do a first birthday session at my studio and I could not be more thrilled! His mom arrived with two outfit choices. One was more formal with a blue button down shirt, bow tie and red shorts and the other was the most adorable pair of seer sucker shorts! I loved both, so we started with the more formal outfit! Since his outfit had so many great colors, we went with a neutral gray and white back drop which is so perfect for any little boy or girl’s first birthday! Once I got all the photos I wanted in this setting I got his cake smash set finalized while Alexander’s mom changed him into his second outfit.

I am thrilled with this “Little man” cake smash theme and set up. I think it’s unique, but very adorable! We kept it minimal with a white back drop, but added pops of color through the banners and the sprinkles on his cake. We also added in a few accessories to give his gallery and outfits a bit of variety! Alexander was so happy the entire session, especially when we brought out the cake! He loved making a mess and putting his tiny hands and feet in the cake!
