You read the title right… Maeve turns one very soon and I just can’t believe it! This beautiful girl is growing so fast and I had so much fun capturing her cake smash and family session at Meredith June Photography! Baby girl Maeve is all smiles and has the cutest little personality… she definitely gets it from her parents!

For this cake smash and family session we started with photos of Maeve and her parents. These pictures are more than adorable. The three of them did so well laughing, cuddling and posing. They really made my job so simple! Once I got what I needed, I snapped a few shots of Maeve with each parent, then we quickly took a break for a snack and to change her outfit for the cake smash session.

Maeve’s cake smash session was a green, gold and white theme! I love how it turned out. This is perfect for a late fall, or even a Christmas birthday! Her set up was perfectly simple with a few balloons, props, and string lights. It looks so magical! We took a few posed photos before she dug into the cake! They turned out so sweet. She is the queen of soft smiles! Then for the grand finale she smashed the cake! Maeve was slightly timid of making a mess, but I think she had a great time!

It’s hard to believe Maeve turns one so soon. Cake smash sessions are so exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do!
