Grayson’s first birthday was celebrated at MJP in the cutest way possible! We set him up with a fishing cake smash theme and I still cannot get over the cuteness! Baby Grayson has the biggest and most adorable personality that radiates through these photos! Make sure you keep scrolling because you really don’t want to miss out on this little guy’s cake smash!

This cake smash was so much fun and super easy! Most of my cake smash and first birthday sessions start out with a posed portrait portion in front of a few different backdrops, and then we move into the cake smash. However, Grayson’s family kept it super simple and we did the cake smash and portraits in the same setting! I have no complaints because look how adorable this set up is… it is perfect for any baby boy!

Every baby reacts so differently to their cake, but baby Grayson’s reaction is at the top of my list! This guy had an absolute blast smashing his cake and posing for the camera. You can tell by the smile on his face, that he was so proud of the cute little mess he made! I had so much fun hanging out and capturing the small moments of Grayson’s first birthday.
