The Matena family session at Marvin Effird park was ADORABLE!! We scheduled this session right at the beginning of fall which is my favorite time of year! The sky is a clear blue, the golden hour sun is extra golden and the evening temps are absolute perfection!

I was so excited when they emailed me to schedule their family photos! We decided on Marvin Effird for the shooting location which is one of my favorite hidden treasures. This spot has so much variety in scenery for a very affordable cost. I love the greenery, but it also provides a rustic, chic look if you choose to get pictures in front of the farmhouse.

This fam is beyond photogenic and their baby girl is the absolute cutest! They were awesome at taking directions from me, but also not being afraid to do whatever it takes to get those smiles and giggles from a toddler! We had an evening full of laughter and fun! I appreciate families like the Matena’s and love capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
