Light and airy studio maternity photos have been right up my alley the last couple of years. I just love this soft and bright look. Its so simple and classic. I believe we will look back at these images 5, 10, 20 years from now and still feel like they are just beautiful and timeless. 

Its such an honor to freeze a family in time just weeks before a new member is added. Big brother probably won’t remember what his family was like without his sister after a few months have passed but mom will be able to peek at these images and transport right back to that time of just the three of them. 

I do lots of studio maternity mini sessions in my white space and get asked frequently about suggestions for outfits. Of course, everyone has their own style and preference but after having the chance to see lots of different color combos and outfit types, I can confidently say that whites/creams/soft tones are just so perfect in there. Recently, the Calvin Klein bra with jeans look has really gotten popular. I just think its so great to show off the belly with your precious baby inside. Our bodies change so much, it really is amazing and deserves to be celebrated! To me, the combination of a dress for one outfit and a more laid back/casual outfit create a really nice variety for the gallery. (Like the white wash jeans and a crop top or bra – even one of dads white button ups on top to generate yet another option). It just offers a cohesive look – falling right in line with the light and airy vibe – with a couple different styles added in.
