Baby Seth was such a happy and content little dude! I totally could have brought him home with me and munched on those dimpled cheeks all day. His newborn lifestyle photo session was so full of love and gorgeous light. Whenever a family is expecting and considering a lifestyle photo session (opposed to studio), I always tell them to make sure the rooms we need to use can be clear of clutter and have great natural light. I can’t even stress how important the latter is! You can see that Seth’s photos are so beautifully filled with that soft bright light and it just highlights his tiny features so perfectly. It really makes a world of difference.
Big sister Aubrey was a champ, too! She really loves her new baby brother and was so sweet with him. She’s only two but I was so impressed with her during our time together!! She kissed him and showed him her toys and we got some really sweet shots of just the two of them that you can see below.
And here’s the best for last: those smiles!! Seth was so super smiley — his parents and I were just elated with how many shots there are with him grinning. It’s not that it is super rare…I can usually get about one smiling shot from each newborn session (though not always!) but it is uncommon to get 5 or 6 great smiling photos, so that is really fantastic and you can see a few of those below.
