Hey everybody, Avery is ONE and she is one of the CUTEST gals to ever walk into MJP! I love milestone photography because it is truly amazing to see how much a baby can change within a year! My girl Avery was so sweet and full of personality! She loved to giggle and explore in my studio on her two little feet! Avery’s parents were just as sweet! They worked so hard to get their girl to smile and laugh and we had a blast doing it!

I know you see a lot of cake smash sessions for first birthday photo’s, but here is proof that you don’t always need a cake! In fact, I love how Avery’s photo gallery turned out! This is a simpler, no mess, easy peasy route for one year old photo sessions! Since we didn’t use a cake, we were able to do more back drop and outfit changes. There are obviously pros and cons to doing a cake smash and not, but they all turn out beautiful!
