If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor maternity session, THIS IS IT!! My time with the Short family was absolutely magical. We found a sweet little spot in the heart of Lake Norman with beautiful greenery and trees and also a lake side beach! I can’t wait for you to see these beautiful pregnancy photos.

I get a lot of questions about what to wear and bring for maternity sessions. I provide everything, but you are welcome to bring things of your own! Mrs. Short brought a few outfit options of her own, but he also ended up wearing one of my favorite maternity dresses from MJP Client Closet. The one we chose my from closet was a white, floor length, summer dress with cap sleeves. The dress looked stunning on this beautiful lady!

We started with a few photos in a purple dress that was one of her own. The purple really stood out against the green forest back drop! I took a few solo portraits and then some with her sweet husband. We did another outfit change and stayed in the same location for a few more shots! Once I was satisfied, we headed over to the beach area. We did one more outfit change into a beautiful baby blue dress that matched the water! We hung out long enough to get some amazing sunset maternity photos which I am in love with!

This outdoor maternity session was so much fun and I really enjoyed my time with the Short family! They are going to be amazing parents and I cannot wait to meet their little one soon!
